Vertical Market
| A reseller's dream, a vertical market is represented by a large number of businesses of the same type, that use the same form pack. | ||||||||||||
| If you are able to locate a vertical market, you are most likely assured of a steady income for years to come. | ||||||||||||
| With vertical markets, you put a pack of paper forms together only once. After that, you sell the same item again and again. | ||||||||||||
| The price is much lower in this case, because we sell the same pack to multiple customers. The form pack becomes a "standard" form pack. Standard form pack prices are not negotiable. | ||||||||||||
Quasi Vertical Market |
| In most cases however, a vertical market does not occur in its pure form. With a quasi vertical market, its form pack may suffer variations from a geographic region to another, or from other factors, but the customer general needs are similar all across. | ||||||||||||
Example |
| XYZ businesses provide health care services of a certain type. They are monitored by state agencies at county level. They report to these agencies frequently, filling a large number of forms. Within the same state, when you switch from a county to another, it may be that some form will change. When you move to another state, many of the forms may change. This is a typical example of a quasi vertical market. | ||||||||||||
